Photo Review: De La Soul, Friday, September 4 @ the Roseland

Alternative hip-hop architects De La Soul played the Roseland on Friday, August 4th. The deeply eclectic and enormously skilled trio—so good that it basically invented the genre—made everything seem so easy as they did it. Posdnous (Kelvin Mercer), Trugoy the Dove (David Jude Jolicoeur) and Pacemaster Mace (Vincent Mason) were loose, in good spirits and played around just enough for a show that was as fresh as if you coulda caught 'em a at house party back in the day.
