Photo Review: Sallie Ford & the Sound Outside, Thursday, July 16 @ the Hotel Deluxe

Ahhhh, Thursday. The day before the weekend officially begins and in the case of last Thursday, the kickoff point for Northwest Film Center's summer 2009 Top Down series featuring standup quartet Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside. Just before dusk began to settle on the horizon, the quartet—led by namesake Sallie Ford— performed a well-received set of its rocking old-timey tunes on the parking lot rooftop of Hotel deLuxe. How well received? Well, the group moved multiple copies of its five track CD during soundcheck alone.
