As noted this afternoon by Basic Rights Oregon, Mexico City stands ready this week to welcome marriage equality for gay and lesbian couples.
Interesting that's happening in the capital of an overwhelmingly Roman Catholic country when it isn't happening — at least not yet — in a supposedly secular state like Oregon.
