IMG_9360 Not only did Valkyrie Rodeo whip up a frenzied mash of metal and hardcore during its Hour Long Hour set on KPSU this past Friday, but the pair created an earthquake, too. Most notably, the Valkyrie Rodeo's chaotic thrash of drums and guitar brought a framed portrait of Ice Cube crashing to the ground. With a large amount of broken glass scattered around but barely a person in sight (save for a few DJs), I stood imagining what level of destruction would be possible with a mass of people reacting to Valkyrie Rodeo instead of just the trembling walls. Considering Valkyrie Rodeo's music is like a demolition derby in itself, the group with an audience could be the more green way to tear down a building. Developers, are you listening?
