Boozy Mistake: Here's the Correct Date for Beer and Movie Fest's Final Film

A contribution in today's WW by BAM: Beer and Movie Fest co-curator Jacques Boyreau makes a case for seeing the festival's closing film, a 1983 male-stripper odyssey called A Night in Heaven. What the article doesn't do—thanks to an error by WW screen editor and BAM co-curator Aaron Mesh—is give the correct date.

The screening actually takes place at 10 pm Thursday, Feb. 25. It was listed as Wednesday in the article.

Never heard of A Night in Heaven? Boyreau begins with this description:

In 1983, John G. Avildsen, the director of Rocky, made A Night in Heaven, and it bombed like a nuke. His male-stripper rendition of Xanadu was hated; rejected on grounds of being stupid, sleazy and bad-funny. The career of boy-toy starlet Christopher Atkins was terminally humiliated. Avildsen got wise to the goo-gloss agenda of the '80s and came back with the definitively immature and incredibly popular The Karate Kid. Just a month ago, I finally caught up with A Night in Heaven, and it changed my world.
