As the boys from Prize Country ready their second full length—and prepare to bum-rush another odd sampling of states, ending with Fest in Gainesville, Florida—let's take a listen back to their debut. "Time In Reno," the biggest little single that never was, restrains the band's instrumental facility and noodle-ready tightness just enough that the hooks and vocals are threatened but never quite swamped. Recorded by Chris Krummet in Hillsboro at AudioLace Studios two years ago, they've mastered the arena rock Fugazi.
