Here we go again. Fresh off its latest
round of cuts from
last year, TriMet announced this afternoon it
must cut $27 million in its upcoming budget for fiscal year 2011. And yes, TriMet says service cuts will make up part of that shortfall, which the transit agency ascribes to the recession and declining payroll tax revenues.
TriMet says it won't release any more details tonight, but that General Manager Fred Hansen will be available to talk about them tomorrow.
