Damn, My High School Sucked: Menomena Added to Cleveland High Concert

menomena bed Yeah, my high school did suck, but at least I went back in the day when arts education in public schools WAS ACTUALLY FUNDED. Music programs around these parts basically live off peanuts, so as you may have heard, Cleveland Lincoln High School's student government is putting on a benefit show to get some funds from Portland music lovers, and hopefully call some attention to a bullshit situation. As of this morning, the pot just got sweeter: Portland experimental popsters Menomena are joining the line-up, already consisting of The Thermals and The Bustling Townships.

Things go down on Friday, May 11 at 8 pm. Tix are $15 ($10 for students). Tickets should be on sale at all district high schools.
