In the space of less than one hour this afternoon, three of Oregon's candidates for governor emailed us the following:
Former Democratic National Committee Chairman
Howard Dean will
headline two fund-raising events
(details TBD) on Feb. 11 Feb. 10 for former Oregon Secretary of State
Bill Bradbury, who's already gotten campaign help this election season from former
Vice President Al Gore.
Former Gov.
John Kitzhaber, running for his old job in the May Democratic primary against Bradbury, announced his endorsement by the
Oregon State Building and Construction Trades Council.
And Republican Chris Dudley is
embarking today on his 36-county tour of Oregon (this seems to be a
popular approach among Republicans this year, not that it hasn't been a
concept trotted out by both parties before.)
