Did You Know It's Reuse Week?

It is Portland's second annual Reuse Week. In honor of Reuse Week, Retail Therapist urges you to shop at one or more of the many stores in the Portland metro area that start with the letters "Re." Such as, ReStore—a giant warehouse full of screaming deals on used appliances, building materials, light fixtures, and other donated home furnishings. It's run by Habitat for Humanity, and all sales go to fund Habitat's building projects. RT was there earlier today and saw the vintage (1927) General Electric refrigerator ($400, pictured above) dramatically lit by a gorgeous, oversize crystal chandelier ($500, pictured below).
