Today's terrarium has broken out of its macrame chrysalis and evolved into a very modern, very chic home accessory for the young urban dweller. And
Artemisia—the alterna-cool garden and design store on SE 28th Avenue—is
Portland's Terrarium headquarters.
Owners Amy and Michael Aiello have stocked the store with terrariums of their own design—ranging in price from $25 to $170— along with a variety of fun glass containers, plants, feathers, bones and shells for you to create your own nature collage.
Retail Therapist likes to think of these miniature indoor gardens as dollhouses for plants.
