PGE Park Deal Delayed At Least One More Week

The final financial agreement between the City of Portland and Merritt Paulson's company will not be on the agenda at City Hall next week after all. One of the sticking points of the proposed redesign of PGE Park remains the sewer line.

Also, Mayor Sam Adams has scheduled an absence for Jan. 19-26. Mayoral spokesman Roy Kaufmann has twice responded via email to a question about where the mayor will be on city business next week. However, neither response has answered the question.

"We're still finalizing the calendar and I will be in touch once I have more information to share," he wrote this afternoon in the second email to WW.

For those of you who are calendar watchers, the mayor's absence next week coincides with the one-year anniversary of his public apology for lying about his sexual relationship with 18-year-old Beau Breedlove.
