Portland's Low, Low Home Prices

The latest Case-Shiller home index report, released today from Standard & Poor, says Portland’s housing market has continued to decline.

Home prices in Portland dropped 1.5 percent from September to October, having hit their lowest points since the country’s housing market started to fall in 2006. Portland’s housing market saw a 5.2 percent price decrease for 2010.

Prices of homes also have dropped in 18 of the 20 largest U.S. metropolitan areas, the study says
