Calling all circus lovers:
Wanderlust needs you to bump, grind and bounce for the camera.
Today, Portland's
Wanderlust Circus invites the public to its
Mega-Bounce video shoot. In promotion for a party this March, Wanderlust is filming a mock celebration. "We need 200-500 people to act like the crowd at a crazy circus party," organizers explain. "Lots of dancing, confetti cannons, bouncy balls, silly strings, and of course AMAZING CIRCUS PERFORMANCES FOR FREE!"
This afternoon's shoot also serves as a preview to
Wanderlust's Valentine's Day circus and banquet Cirque L'Amour. Participants and onlookers will get to see performances from most of the Cirque L'Amour acts including AWOL Dance, Kazum, and Russell Bruner. The springtime bash will feature DJ Assault and Heyokah, a specially-choreographed party version of the circus,
a giant bouncy castle, confetti cannons and "dwarf volleyball."
GO: Wanderlust Mega-Bounce video shoot takes place at The Refuge, 116 SE Yamhill St. 5-9 pm Wednesday, Jan. 19. 21+ only.
