The internet is abuzz with discussion of this augemented reality app that translates printed text on the fly. This self-contained app requires no internet connection to work and is free. The catch? The app alone can only reverse or erase text in demo mode. And also languages are ten bucks a pop, with Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish (the only language currently available) counting as separate purchases. As lame as the pricing is (during the intro period, $4.99 each) the tech behind it is truly something else. Until you log some travel time with the app, it's hard to determine the overall utility but you can definitely wow your friends. Check the dog and pony show below:
