Washington ranked seventh.
Portland ranked No. 10 for top metropolitan areas for total number of volunteers, with 151 residents currently serving.
Roseburg debuted as No. 6 for top metropolitan areas per capita, following Missoula, MT, Burlington, VT and Boulder, CO.
