Rally for Gaza at Pioneer Square This Saturday

This Saturday, Jan. 9, there will be a rally and march in Portland to show solidarity for residents of Gaza, who have been suffering a siege for just over a year.

The rally begininng at Pioneer Square will include remarks from Oregon college students who have just returned from the Gaza Freedom March, which went from Egypt to the Israeli border.

Then at 1 pm, demonstrators will march to Portland State's campus and hold an indoor rally in Smith Building #296/298. Political folk music, Palestinian-American poetry, and a theater presentation will accompany the proceedings.
