We had a pretty civil discussion yesterday (thanks everybody) in response to the question of
what advice you'd give Gov.-Elect John Kitzhaber heading into his term next year.
So in that spirit (and because it's a slow-news Friday), let's try something similar today with Republican gubernatorial candidate
Chris Dudley.
Dudley didn't mention politics in his concession remarks the evening after the election. But one of our readers offered the following comment on our
post about Dudley's concession:
"What he DOESN'T say: “I'm so serious about my desire to engage in the difficult role of public servant that I'm going to ______ in order to both prove that commitment and demonstrate my skills.”
If you had to fill in the blank in the sentence above for Dudley, what advice would you give him?
