BAG IT!: The Northwest Film Premiere

Mark your calendar for March 4, the Northwest premiere of the film BAG IT! at the Hollywood Theatre (4122 NE Sandy Blvd.).

In addition to viewing the film about plastic's impact on the world, audience members can learn more about the proposed statewide plastic bag ban from the organization BAG IT OREGON!

The event begins March 4 at 7 pm and continues each night through March 13 with a different host. Weekend matinees begin at 5 pm.

Hosts include Environment Oregon, Surfrider Foundation Oregon Chapters, The Oregon League of Conservation Votes, Willamette Riverkeepers, Tualatin Riverkeepers, Recycling Advocates and Audubon Society of Portland.

Tickets, which cost $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and kids aged 4 to 12, are available at the door and at the Hollywood Theatre's website.
