Mayor Sam Adams' Thoughts on the Joint Terrorism Task Force

One of the unknowns in the upcoming decision by Portland's City Council whether to rejoin the federal Joint Terrorism Task Force is how Mayor Sam Adams will vote.

Adams, along with commissioners Amanda Fritz and Nick Fish, has not indicated which way they are leaning. Commissioner Randy Leonard opposes rejoining the JTTF, and Commissioner Dan Saltzman supports the idea of rejoining the JTTF, which will be the subject of a public work session Feb. 15 and a possible council vote on Feb. 24.

We asked Adams about the JTTF as part of a longer interview with the mayor that will run in this Wednesday's print edition of WW. Below is the clip of what Adams had to say about JTTF and the views expressed by supporters of rejoining the task force and opponents of that move.
