Guilt-Free Good Times: Christchurch Earthquake Relief and Abortion Rights Bowling

Kiwis In Portland is hosting a fundraiser for the victims of the Christchurch earthquake tonight, Wednesday, March 2, at 6 pm at the Buffalo Gap. Funds raised in the silent auction and raffle (in which you could win Icebreaker outdoor apparel) will go to the New Zealand Red Cross. Party like the Kiwis do, and aid the victims of last week's natural disaster by enjoying roasted lamb and a pint of Steinlager. All donations must be in cash or checks made to the NZ Red Cross.

And if you're booked on Wednesday, but like the idea helping those in need by imbibing, check out the Network of Reproductive Options' Saturday, April 9 Bowl-a-Thon. Teams of five must raise $750 to join the competition at Hollywood Bowl. All proceeds will go toward providing low-income women with the option of abortion. Click here for more info.
