Shocker: NYT Misses An Opportunity to Mention Portland

Over the past couple of years, The New York Times has missed few opportunities to display a fascination with all things Portland.

There have been takes about the fact that people ride bikes here to the revelations that we also drink good beer and eat at food carts.

So this Sunday NYT's story about the national trend of gay politicians winning higher offices even as voters reject gay rights measures conspicuously omitted one name—Portland Mayor Sam Adams.
