Hosannas Unveils Free EP, Thug Life Nicole
Where have you been, Hosannas? Likely toiling around in the existential realm that is experimental pop...you know, experimenting. Once a four-piece known as Church, the remaining duo of brothers Brandon and Richard Laws has been remained out of the limelight in 2011 (with the exception of an appearance in a video for Into the Woods Kickstarter campaign earlier this year). And then BAM! Hosannas released a new EP today, entitled Thug Life Nicole. The release proves that the band is indeed still experimenting. Sonically the 4-track EP is cavernous and brooding, but with the ever-beatific vocal delivery that trademarks any Hosannas release.
Hopefully this is a genial harbinger of all things Hosannas in 2011.
