Just Out Newspaper Ends Publication

"Three years of recession have taken their toll"

Via Byron Beck comes news that Just Out—"Oregon's Lesbian/Gay/Bi/Trans/Queer Newsmagazine"—is ending publication after 29 years.

A short letter from publisher Marty Davis on the Just Out website reads as follows:

Effective December 26, 2011, Just Out newsmagazine, serving Portland’s LGBTQ community since 1983, is no longer in business.

Three years of recession have taken their toll.

Beck confirms that there will not be an online version of the paper.
