The Gastronomical Rise of SE Division Street Continues

Kim Jong Grillin' returns!

Southeast Division Street continues its ascendancy to being the best street for gluttonous good times in all Portland (hell, maybe it already is). The past few months alone have seen the arrival of Wafu, the Woodsman Tavern, Mi Mero Mole and Double Dragon, plus there's a Little Big Burger outpost and a promised new Andy Ricker project on the way.

Now Bhap Sang PDX, the bricks and mortar version of crispy fried Korean food cart Kim Jong Grillin', says it has signed a lease at Southeast 28th and Division.

You may remember Kim Jong Grillin' as the cart that won our 2011 Eat Mobile festival judges' choice Carty Award with its bulgogi beef and smoked pork belly, only to burn down a few hours later. Owner Han Ly Hwang has been promising to open Bhap Sang ever since.
