Courtney Taylor-Taylor's One Model Nation Release Party, Jan. 31 at Music Millenium

Last night, Dandy Warhols frontman and newly minted graphic novelist Courtney Taylor-Taylor was on hand at Music Millenium for the launch of his new graphic novel and tie-in album One Model Nation. Standing alongside his collaborator artist Jim Rugg, the two signed autographs to promote the hardcover work of fiction that tells the story of a German quartet who topped the charts only to disappear suddenly.

Other than the debut of One Model Nation, the night was notably punctuated by a confused woman on an apparent quest to find a new place for her tent. She stood by the signing desk for most of the celebration, loudly interrupting the roughly hour-long event before leaving in tandem with its end. When activities came to a close just after 7 pm, Taylor-Taylor passed along his regards to Music Millenium owner Terry Currier via the cashiers and cruised out the door and into the night.
