The
FBI has been opening a few new doors in its fight against terrorism. Or rather it's been busting open several.
Activists will gather in downtown
Portland tomorrow for a
speakout against the raids in the
Midwest in the homes of known anti-war activists, most of them in
Chicago or
Minneapolis. All the raids were done in the name of fighting terrorism. The Portland event will be at the Wyatt Federal Building on Southwest 3rd and Madison St at 4 pm.
On Monday, similar protests in the Midwest drew crowds of 120 and 150 angry picketers
in Chicago and Minneapolis respectively.
