J. Isaac, who spent two decades at the Portland Trail Blazers, many  dealing with government agencies,  has a new job—working for CFM, a prominent lobbying and public affairs firm that has offices in Portland and D.C.  Isaac, a lawyer who many years ago was the business manager for the iconic Portland rock group Quarterflash, and is currently the chair of the Portland Business Alliance, says it's unclear who his clients will be. Among CFM's current clients are Recology, which is seeking permission to accept compostable material at its site in Lents; Providence Health & Services; and Hewlett Packard.
