Stumptown Expands to L.A.

Heads up, parochial Portlanders: those of you who got your knickers in a twist when Stumptown expanded to New York should set your fists to shake: Stumptown is opening a roastery in Los Angeles, according to Eater LA.

As you'll all remember, Stumptown founder Duane Sorenson sold the majority share in the company to San Francisco-based investment firm TSG last year, citing expansion into "Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Europe" as one of the motivations.
