Liberals Plan Local Rally for Sanity at Morrison Bridge

Portland liberals would like to give Glenn Beck something to chew on.

Next month, hundreds will heed Daily Show Host John Stewart's tongue-in-cheek suggestion to answer the Fox News anchor's "Restoring Honor" rally with a "Rally to Restore Sanity."

According to a Facebook event page, the event has more than 400 people saying they'll meet under the Morrison Bridge on Saturday. Oct. 30 from noon to 5 pm. A much larger version will be held in Washington D.C., that same day. There, thousands will gather around the Washington Monument for their best mockery of Beck trying to be Martin Luther King.

Not much information yet on speakers, refreshments, etc. My guess is they won't be serving tea.
