Future Drinking: Koi Finally Building Out Stadium Flowers Space?

And more new places to eat and drink in Portland

News from the week's OLCC liquor license applications:

Earlier this year, we reported that Korean-Mexican food truck fleet Koi Fusion had bought the Stadium Flowers space at 2010 W Burnside St. near Jeld-Wen, with the intention of building an indoor dining room and serving beer, but we've seen very little movement there since. Here's a good sign it's still going ahead: Koi has finally filed for a beer and wine license for the space.

Profile Theater at 3430 SE Belmont St., which performs a only the works of one playwright every season (this season is Athol Fugard, so prepare for lots of affected Sith Ifrican iccents), has applied to for a beer and wine license.

Tennessee Red's Restaurant and Lounge at 2131-2133 SE 11th Ave. has been sold to Peter, Willene and Lavona Goforth and Nicolas Peck, who also own Barkley's Pub. Peter Goforth also owns Mulligan's Bar and Grill, Wimpy's, Virginia Cafe, Putters Bar and Grill and others.

Deborah and Jerid Wilcox have bought Sidelines Restaurant and Bar at 6001 NE Win Sivers Dr. and presumably also the impressively awful website that comes with it.

Action Jackson's at 3508 SE 122nd Ave. has been sold to John Borland.
