Rigsketball Ridiculousness Update: The Final Results!

After six days of blood, sweat and bumper dunks, there is a new Rigsketball champion, and their name is Rio Grands!

The swingin' lounge-pop newcomers (formerly known as Rocky and the Proms) defeated electro-poppers (and Portugal the Man affiliates) Hustle and Drone in two hard-fought, grind-it-out games of street ball.

Congrats to the winners, and also to the winners of our Rigsketball Ridiculousness Pool! First place will take home a giant prize package featuring merch from nearly all the bands that participated in this year's tournament. Second place (which, as you'll see below, is a tie) gets a choice of concert tickets for upcoming shows at Holocene, Doug Fir and Mississippi Studios. And third gets a bag of random WW stuff!

Thanks to everyone who participated in this contest, and special thanks to all the bands, most importantly Bim Ditson of And And And for putting together another awesome tournament. Big RIPS to you, sir!

And now, relive this magical Rigsketball season in slideshow form. Before you do, though, you should open this link and play it another tab, to get the full effect.
