Yes, We Went to the Stripper Dog Wash

We admit it—we had nothing to do this weekend.

So on Saturday, we wandered down to famed Southeast Portland strip club Sassy’s Bar and Grill, to witness the fourth annual Dog and Car Wash event to raise money for the Oregon Humane Society.

Attendees were served beers behind a gated fence where Bikini-clad women armed with shampoo scrubbed down pups. Outside, dancers hosed off cars and flagged down potential customers by jumping and waving printed posters above their heads.

“A lot of the girls that we have here got their dogs from the Oregon Humane Society, so we decided this would be the best way,” said Mimi, who started the event four years ago.
