â On the same night, Oliver $, whose breakout 2011 hit sampled fellow 3 Chairs member Moodymann, plays the Analog. âDoinâ Ya Thangâ is Oliver $âs most soulful cut, mostly thanks to that sample, and heâs since moved to more standard fare for Play It Cool, a funk-focused imprint of Made To Play. More than that, Oliver $ generated a lot of buzz for Sample Pleasures Vinyl 1 & 2, a 2012 collaboration with Made To Play founder Jesse Rose. (9 pm, $10 before 12 am, $15 after, 21+)
â Finally on Friday, the Club Chemtrail boys explore less conspiratorial territory with Deep Burn at Valentineâs. Expect it to get nice and vibe-y as they spin more familiar styles and jams. (10 pm, free, 21+)
â At least we can all agree that on Wednesday, no matter what your bias, Oneohtrix Point Never will be the hot shit not to miss. (Doug Fir, 9 pm, $16-18, 21+)
