PDX Pop Now, Portland's annual free, all-local music festival, is extending the submission deadline for its yearly compilation.

Each year, PPN complements the festival with a curated two-disc album, which the organization refers to as "one-part fundraiser, one-part shameless promoter of Portland musical talents." The songs are selected by a listening panel of over 100 PPN board members and volunteers, and often run the gamut, from established acts to bands who've yet to get out of the garage. Last year's comp, which marked the festival's 10 year anniversary, included everyone from Chromatics and Typhoon to lesser-known outfits like Eidolons and Dupre.

Artists wishing to submit a track for consideration now have until 11:59 pm on Monday, March 10. The application can be found here.

PDX Pop Now's 2014 edition takes place in July. The exact dates have yet to be announced.
