Hey! What's With the Empty Willamette Week Boxes?

A delay at our printer means some newsstands outside the central city won't get papers until this afternoon and evening.

Some of you may have woken up to empty Willamette Week boxes this morning.

No, we have not decided to scale back delivery.

No, we haven't changed our delivery hours.

But our printer last night did suffer a temporary production breakdown last night, which means some parts of the city did not receive issues of Willamette Week early this morning. We're working to remedy this as fast as we can.

These are the spots where you can currently find print copies of Willamette Week:

  • Between the Willamette River and Broadway downtown, as well as in Old Town and the Pearl, and about half of boxes elsewhere in Northwest Portland.
  • Inner Northeast and inner Southeast from Cesar Chavez Boulevard to the Willamette River should also have papers.
Outer Northeast and Southeast Portland, most of North Portland, most of Southwest Portland, and the suburbs will get papers by this evening.

We regret the inconvenience.
