The Oregon Connections in Forbes' List of the 400 Richest Americans

Not every person who touches the state of Oregon is destitute in this lousy economy.

Forbes magazine's list of the 400 richest Americans includes four people in its top 25 who have big payrolls in the state.

Tied for ninth on the list are Charles and David Koch, the brothers who own Georgia-Pacific and who support right-tilting causes around the country. The next Oregon connections on the list are Trail Blazers owner Paul Allen (17th) and Nike founder Phil Knight (24th).

We do note from schadenfreude's corner that the net worth of all four billionaires has declined.
