Jim Rome's "
clones" will get a chance to meet their maker when the sports talk radio personality comes to Portland on Nov. 2. A meet-and-greet will be hosted by
95.5 The Game at Portland Meadows, where 250 fans can meet Rome and watch horse racing.
Tickets for the event announced today on the sports radio outlet (
one of two in Portland) can only be won through the station, which will be awarding tickets over the next five weeks.
Rome's fast-paced, trash-talking act
nearly disappeared from the Portland airwaves last year, when the city's other sports radio station —
1080 The Fan — removed his midday program from local airwaves. But the
Pimp in the Box survives on The Game.
