Convention Center Hotel Finally Gets Buried

The long, long-proposed convention center headquarters hotel has appeared dead multiple times before.

But this joint release put out this afternoon by all the major players — Mayor Sam Adams, Multnomah County Chairman Ted Wheeler and Metro President David Bragdon — appears to be the hotel's final death knell.
