Portland beer lovers will have to wait another month to guzzle at the
Inaugural Oregon Mini Beer Fest, which was supposed to take place at
Green Dragon this Saturday and Sunday. Organizers emailed this morning to alert everybody that
the festival has been rescheduled for the weekend of September 19-20 due to "scheduling conflicts."
So, yeah, just ignore our mention of the festival, which was supposed to "feature 30+ independent Oregon-based breweries that brew no-more-than 1,000 barrels per year, providing festival goers with exciting, hard to-find beers," in the print edition of this week's Headout page. Don't even look at it.
The inaugural Oregon Mini Beer Fest takes place at Green Dragon, 928 SE 9th Ave., 517-0660. RESCHEDULED: 11 am-9 pm Saturday, 11 am-7 pm Sunday, Sept. 19-20. $10 for admission and 5 drink tickets.
