In case anybody wonders what all the noise from our office was last night, we and hundreds of the paper's closest friends were celebrating our Best of Portland issue.
Ex-WW staffer Byron Beck was good enough to chronicle all the festivities with this set of photos (like the one above) at Byron Beck's Window - including shots of Mayor Sam Adams, Bob Ball, Multnomah County Commissioner Jeff Cogen and Republican gubernatorial hopeful Allen Alley.
UPDATE 4:50 pm Thursday, July 23: More BOP Party photos folks, this time courtesy of WW's interns. Take a close look at those dunk tank photos—that's News Editor Hank Stern and WW Editor-in-Chief Mark Zusman gettin' soaked as vengeful story subjects and giddy staffers lined up to dunk the editors at the bargain price of $2 for three balls. WW raised $225 for Sisters of the Road in the process.
