A popular Northwest Portland convenience store and a Northeast Portland Mediterranean restaurant are among the businesses
busted by OLCC commissioners at their monthly meeting.
Quick Stop Deli Market at 602 NW 21st Ave. had its liquor license suspended for 30 days, and
Farzad Larki can no longer participate in managing the shop. The OLCC says Larki failed to divulge a prior felony conviction for
unlawful distribution of tobacco products.
Blue Olive, a Mediterranean restaurant at 4627
NW NE Fremont St. also owned by Larki's family, got a 30-day suspension at the OLCC's July 13 meeting for the same reason. Larki is restricted from entering the restaurant for
any purpose other than food preparation.
Also hit for failing to card young people:
Malay Satay Hut, 2850 SE 82nd Ave. #4.
East, 322 NW Everett St.
