What, there's ANOTHER river? Summer Celebration on the Columbia

Here in the great Northwest, we have an embarrassment of riches, and by "riches", we mean "rivers." They're great for hiking beside, admiring from a distance, and occasionally dipping in your toes in. The Lower Columbia River Estuary Partnership invites you to do all of these things--plus canoe races!--at this year's Summer Celebration on the Columbia on Sunday, August 9.

The event will take place at Frenchman's Bar Park in Vancouver, Washington (9612 NW Lower River Park Road) from noon to 4 pm. LCREP asks that prospective attendees please RSVP before July 31, either by email to events@lcrep.org, or by phone to Laura O'Keefe at 226-1565, ext. 226.
