Budget Cuts Cause County Immunization Clinic to Reduce Walk-In Hours And Move

The community immunization clinic for Multnomah County will move from Northeast Portland to 426 SW Stark Street downtown and reduce its walk-in hours from two days a week to one day a week.

The Health Department's Immunization Clinic, now at 5329 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. will join some of the department's other offices — starting June 22 — on the third floor at 426 SW Stark Street.

County officials ascribe the move and reduced hours to budget cuts affecting the community clinic, which offers childhood vaccinations, flu shots and adult immunizations. Walk-in hours will continue to be held Tuesdays after the relocation, but no longer on Thursdays. Appointments may be scheduled for Mondays starting June 22 at (503) 988-3828 ext. 26692.

No clinic services will be offered from Thursday, June 11 to Thursday, June 18.
