Covering your cough or sneeze (with inside of elbow or sleeve, not hand)

Frequent hand-washing

Staying home when you are sick

Avoid bringing sick children to public places (day care, schools, libraries, etc.)

Only going to a hospital in an emergency situation

As well as this advice: If you become ill with fever and other flu symptoms like cough, sore throat and possibly vomiting and diarrhea, call your doctor or clinic for an appointment right away.
