  • Covering your cough or sneeze (with inside of elbow or sleeve, not hand)
  • Frequent hand-washing
  • Staying home when you are sick
  • Avoid bringing sick children to public places (day care, schools, libraries, etc.)
  • Only going to a hospital in an emergency situation
  • As well as this advice: If you become ill with fever and other flu symptoms like cough, sore throat and possibly vomiting and diarrhea, call your doctor or clinic for an appointment right away.
