Un-shallow Your Shopping Side: Fashion Benefit For Alec

"For Alec," a fashion benefit Saturday, Feb. 28.
  1. Hip hop performances by the Dynasty Dancers and Alexander, Master of Marvels
  2. A charity auction with items like a signed Coraline poster by Harry Selick and courtside Blazers tickets
  3. A runway show with clothes from local designers such as janeane marie and Beauty and the Bead.
The event will be held at the Mayfair Ballroom in the Benson Hotel (309 SW Broadway). Doors open at 7 pm and the runway show will start at 9 pm Saturday, Feb. 28. Donations of $15 are requested, but no one who wants to donate more will be turned away. Donations can also be given online at CaringBridge at any branch of Bank of America by asking to donate to the "Alexander Martinez Medical Fund." Find out more at Alec's Caring Bridge page.
