Can anyone else imagine the look on 26-year-old designer Jason Wu's face when he realized that Michelle Obama was wearing his gown on inauguration night? Okay, we're not promising anyone that much exposure (unless you're an underwear model) but selection for STRUT'S annual fashion show to benefit Basic Rights Oregon would be a pretty awesome thing, nonetheless.
All local designers are asked to submit two image samples by MARCH 1ST to StrutPDX@gmail.com, along with:

- Company name
- Contact name
- Contact phone number
- A brief description of your work (50 words or less)
- And where your line is available for purchase.
Selected designers will be notified in mid-March. The all-ages event will be held on Saturday May 16th at Luxe Auto House. Sponsors this year include us (!) Willamette Week, Q6 Model & Artist MGMT., Royce's Prop Shop and Rudy's. At low personal cost, you can raise money for a good cause and showcase your designs to an adoring public.
Well, again, we can't promise that much. But you should do it, anyway.
