Portlanders Share Views on Gulf Coast Disaster Tonight

Organizers of a unique, fact-finding mission to the Gulf Coast region have returned from their nine-day visit to Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. And they're prepared to share what they learned about the effects of the devastating BP oil spill on the Gulf Coast with interested Portlanders.

Tonight at 7 pm, they'll gather at the headquarters for Keen Footwear, 926 NW 13th Ave., to share photos and video from their trip. And on Sept. 2, they'll be at Mississippi Studios, 3939 N. Mississippi Ave., at 8 pm for a concert featuring Buoy LaRue, Leonard Mynx, Rachael Taylor-Brown and Chris Robley & The Fear of Heights.
