Moviegoers in the mood for a slice of international stupid this weekend may want to head to the
Clinton Street Theater. Starting Friday, the Clinton offers a one-week engagement of
Sukiyaki Western Django, the recent Japanese spaghetti western from the frighteningly prolific filmmaker
Takashi Miike. The film must be one of a select few to deliberately enlist the acting talents of Quentin Tarantino, and is the only film, to my knowledge, to be deliberately shot in broken English.

Sukiyaki Western Django is rated R and plays Jan. 2-8 at 7 pm and 9:30 pm at the
Clinton Street Theater.
