Protest Over California's Prop 8 Planned in Portland

You can live in Oregon and still be pissed about Proposition 8, the amendment our neighbors to the south approved on Tuesday to ban gay marriage in California.

More importantly, you can live in Oregon and still protest Proposition 8 -- you can even do it in step with the rest of the country.

This Saturday, Nov. 15, at 10:30 a.m. Pacific Time, protesters in cities in every state will gather on the steps of city halls, in parks, and around universities to denounce the amendment.

In Portland, groups will gather in two locations: At at Portland State Univesity on the South Park blocks near the farmers market, and at Tom McCall Waterfront Park (1020 SW Naito Pkwy).
